[Verse] He walked in faith, That's all He did. Who He was, He never hid. Spreading the word, Is what he tried. And for all His effort, Our Savior died. [Chorus] He has risen, He has returned. He gave salvation, We never earned. He has risen, Conquered the grave. Brand new hope, Is what he gave. [Verse] Paraded in shame, He was tortured and bled. Crucified on that cross, Crown of thorns upon his head. He was left to die, Entombed alone. Three days later, He rolled that stone. [Chorus] He has risen, He has returned. He gave salvation, We never earned. He has risen, Conquered the grave. Brand new hope, Is what he gave. [Bridge] Even tho he was God's son, He took the blame for all we'd done. He knew he was dying for our sin, And He'd do it all again. [Chorus] He has risen, He has returned. He gave salvation, We never earned. He has risen, Conquered the grave. Brand new hope, Is what he gave. [Finale]
