[Verse] Iggy the iguana sat by the tree Wagging his tail As happy as can be He whispered a wish "A toy for me?" Oh What could it be What could it be? [Chorus] Flip-flop Flip-flop That's what he got One lonely flip-flop It wasn’t a lot He scratched his head He gave it a stare "Is the other one hiding somewhere?" [Verse 2] He peeked in the bushes He checked the sand No other flip-flop was close at hand He said "Dear flip-flop What do you do?" "Are you a boat? A hat? A shoe?" [Prechorus] Iggy spun it round Iggy flipped it high He laughed so loud It reached the sky [Chorus] Flip-flop Flip-flop That’s what he got One silly flip-flop It sure hit the spot He danced with it Twirled it Held it tight "Oh Flip-flop You’re my joy tonight!" [Bridge] Not every gift comes in pairs You see Sometimes one is all you need to be free With a hop and a skip Iggy did play His one flip-flop made a magical day
