Symphony No. 6 2nd mov. “Prayer”

Movement 2, "Prayer" The people pray. They pray for another new day, a new morning, and for the day to pass without incident, and for the people and society around them to be able to live without incident. This is a deep prayer, not to a specific god, but to the fact that we are alive. This movement incorporates the previously composed "Nordic Symphonic Poem No. 3." While I also composed other pieces specifically for this symphony, I felt this piece best suited the symphony's postlude and structure. As a result, in the composer’s opinion,I believe this movement is the most beautiful of the entire piece. なお，この楽章には以前作曲した「交響詩“ノルディック”第3番を転用しています。この交響曲の為に作曲した物もありますが、この曲がもっともこの交響曲の後奏、構成に合うと考えての措置です。結果として、作曲者の意見としては、この楽章は全曲中でも最も美しいものとなっていると思います。
