Maidens of Death — Blood and Silk, pt III
Lights went low, then the locks clicked, Black thread crawled where the walls split. Gold halls shook like a coffin lid, The island learned what the fuck it did. Pool went black with a violet breath, Silk slid in on a spider step. No law came, no saints were left, So, I woke the Maidens of Death. Velvet corridor, venom in the trim, Rich men panicked, polished and slim. All that confidence gone in a quarter tick, Funny how gods go mortal quick. Cameras blinked like a black-eye witness, Every lens caught the panic in business. Ledger full of offshore sickness, Now the debt wants interest. Elevators dropped to the deep, Marble floors started showing teeth. Private docks swallowed every fuckin key, No one soul got away from me. I moved quiet where the bassline bent, Black silk snapped like a punishment. Not revenge, just the consequence, Coming to collect the goddamn rent. No badge came through those walls, No bright god took our calls. So I stood where mercy crawls, And made damn sure they fucking fall. Maidens of Death, rise in black, No more cages, no way back. Gold hearts crack, old gods shake, We are the debt they had to pay. Maidens of Death, silk and flame, We don’t beg, we take our names. Black thread sings, rich men pray, We are the night the pain made. Ballroom shook with a funeral bounce, Crystal rained from the chandelier crown. Every fake king got counted out, By girls they priced by the ounce. Server rooms bled electric blue, Files lit up with the ugly truth. Names got dragged from the data tomb, Like ghosts kicked out their rooms. One girl sparked with a static grin, One breathed frost through a split lip. One bent light till the glass went thin, Then the dark walked in. I said, “Run if you still want dawn, Stay if your teeth feel overdue.” Black thread hummed like a loaded psalm, No leash. Your choice. Choose. They looked back at the velvet rooms, Where their old selves met their tombs. Then one by one, through the gloom, They took in the black silk bloom. Heart of Wrath hit a second beat, Black roots rose underneath my feet. Every scream turned into heat, Every bone broken, every scar got teeth. Spine went cold, then the crown grew, Eight dark points in a violet hue. My shadow moved before I knew, Like it had legs too. Half still girl, half unholy curse, Soft voice stitched to a darker verse. Mercy tried, but the hunger worked, And the hunger learned to feast first. Dawn crawled red on the island skin, Silk flags waved where the lights burned thin. Wrath was clean when the night began, But it ended sin. Dock lights died where his black boat tore, Sea hissed loud like it wanted more. He looked back from the broken shore, Death in his eyes, not calm anymore. I heard them breathe in a webbed-out choir, Blood got warm, and the crown climbed higher. I felt each heartbeat hit my chest, Every new voice joined the fucking nest. Behind me, doors opened one by one, Girls stepped out, where the rich men run. No more dolls in a dead man’s fun, Now they stand under no one. By sunrise, we were more than breath, More than pain in a party dress. They asked, “What are we now?” I said, “Maidens. Born from death.” Maidens of Death, rise in black, No more cages, no way back. Gold hearts crack, old gods shake, We are the debt they had to pay. Maidens of Death, silk and flame, We don’t beg; we take our names. Black thread sings, rich men pray, We are the night they fucking made. Eight-point crown in the morning red, Black silk throne where the island bled. Vexis ran, but the fear still fed, My Heart of Wrath wasn’t dead. Love went cold in a velvet grin, Mercy drowned where the webs begin. I was just trying to save them, Then I heard... the Heart of Sin.
