(Kid’s ❤️) A Sabbath Rest ©️ 1988 Michael Ledner

[Verse 1] [children’s choir for the whole sing] A Sabbath rest is very sweet It calms our hearts, rests weary feet But best of all, in your presence we bask In this rest, we have in you, in you Jesus, you are our sweet Sabbath rest [speaking] Now, on your Sabbath, if you listen closely You may hear your Father in heaven speaking something like this to your heart [Verse 2] Come, enter into my rest and enjoy this day with me My dear daughter, my dear son, I made it just for you Come, taste what a day will be like in my glorious kingdom to come [Chorus] It's time to rest and delight in my goodness You can throw all those cares away Come be with me on this Sabbath day [outro] A Sabbath rest is very sweet
