There's so much of what's inside—a wealth you hold dear, but you're hiding it all away, lost somewhere between doubt and fear. You’re building up walls, closing the blinds, keeping the world at bay, Letting shadows fall on the brilliance of your day. You’re waiting for a moment, a sign, a permission slip to go, don't wait for the clock to strike nine before you choose to let it grow. Don't forget your soul is your inner light, It's a guide, it's a compass, burning warm and bright. Don't hide the light that's inside of you, don't keep it out of sight, oh, let that inner light show and beam it bright! The spark you were born with wasn't meant to be dimmed or confined, It's a gift of your essence, the blueprint of your mind. Every talent, every kindness, every unique way you see, they’re all colors you deny the world, kept under lock and key. Tear down the curtain, break open the door, let the universe see, This energy surging, this powerful, radiant you just waiting to be free. No more shrinking back, no more silence when you long to speak— This glow is your purpose, the summit of the peak. Don't forget your soul is your inner light, It's a guide, it's a compass, burning warm and bright. Don't hide the light that's inside of you, don't keep it out of sight, oh, let that inner light show and beam it bright! Beam it bright. Let it show. Just let it grow. Don't forget your soul is your inner light.
