Title: To Let Go / To Hold On (Live Acoustic Duet) Instrumentation: - Two acoustic guitars (fingerpicked and light strumming) - Two lead vocalists (alternating lines) - Soft harmonized refrains - Minimal percussion (optional shaker or soft brush snare) --- Intro (Fingerpicked Guitar) Guitar plays a gentle arpeggio, second guitar softly enters with warm chords. Vocalist A (soft, introspective): “So many people… come and go in our lives…” Vocalist B (gentle response): “Some as friends… lovers… or just a fleeting face…” Both (soft hum together): “Mmm… ahhh…” --- Verse 1 (Alternating lines) Vocalist A: Life is quiet, then chaos appears, Vocalist B: Through broken hearts and laughter and tears. Vocalist A: We hold the ones who steady our days, Vocalist B: Their love will guide us through the maze. Both (soft harmony): “Hold on… hold on…” --- Chorus (Together in Harmony) Hold on… to what makes you whole. Let go… of the weight on your soul. Like roses and thorns along the way, Your heart will show you who will stay. --- Verse 2 (Lead Swap) Vocalist B: Some will lift you, some bring you low, Vocalist A: Follow your heart, it already knows. Vocalist B: Life’s a garden, tender and true, Vocalist A: Love will bloom for the ones meant for you. Both (gentle harmony): “Bloom for you… bloom for you…” --- Bridge (Alternating Lines, Then Together) Vocalist A: Step by step… hand in hand… Vocalist B: Side by side… follow love’s plan… Both: Quiet the world… let your soul dance… “Soul dance… soul dance…” --- Final Chorus (Full Duet Harmony) Hold on… to the ones who make you whole. Let go… of the shadows on your soul. Through thorns and roses, day by day, Your heart will guide you who will stay. --- Outro (Guitars fade, voices soft and close) Vocalist B: “Hold on…” Vocalist A: “…let go…” Both: “…hold on…” --- This live acoustic duet removes the gospel rhythm, focusing on intimacy and alternating leads. The harmonies are soft and blended, creating a heartfelt, conversational performance perfect for a small, live setting.
