September's gone and Suddenly Everything's feelin' fresher Cool breezes blow against my cheeks Streetlights flicker one by one And I don’t feel the pressure Some folks mourn the summer But I’m kinda glad for it To leave And I know it's a little weird But hey That's how I’m wired 'Cuz somethin' 'bout this time of year Just Makes me feel inspired I’m an October girl Gimme cold nights Orange lights (Uhh-Aiii-aii!) Leaves on the sidewalk And stars out by five (ah-yaiii-yaiii) I like that sweater weather better And Spooky season's Such a friggin' pleasure So you can just keep July forever, oh whoa-oh 'Cuz I’m an October girl Whoa-oh, October girl Whoa-oh, I'm an October girl The sky's aglow and Suddenly This whole town's lookin' golden How those porch lights Glimmer in the dusk And every window Tells a story of its own The air It smells like rain And I can't help myself It gives me such a rush And I know it's kinda strange But hey That's how I’m wired 'Cuz somethin' 'bout this time of year Just Makes me feel alive-er I’m an October girl Gimme cold nights Pumpkin spice (Uhh-Aiii-aii!) Leaves on the sidewalk And stars out by five (ah-yaiii-yaiii) I like that sweater weather better That Spooky season's Such a friggin' pleasure So you can just keep July forever, oh whoa-oh 'Cuz I’m an October girl Whoa-oh, October girl Whoa-oh, I'm an October girl I’m an October girl Gimme cold nights Orange lights (Uhh-Aiii-aii!)
