[Intro]

[Spoken Word]
Moses had something good going with God. He spoke with him as a man speaks with his friend, face to face, My brother and my sister, do you realize we have something greater than Moses? We have his Holy Spirit living within us. We have full and immediate access to his throne of grace. And when we take his invitation to come,, to come as we are, to come boldly through his finished work on the cross, through his blood, relaxed in his love,
we enter into a mutually enjoyable conversation and sweet communion with Him.

And as he coaches us in His ways of love,, we cultivate an intimate life-giving relationship with Jesus, our Lord.
His presence doesn't just go with us. His presence lives within us.

This is what God said to Moses:

[Verse 1]
[sung]
“My presence shall go with you
And I will give you rest,
My presence shall go with you
And I will give you rest.

[chorus]
Just like a man talks with his friend
So Moses spoke with God face to face
And through the blood of Jesus,
We can do the same
With boldness we approach his throne of grace

[Verse 2]
Now His presence lives within us
That's how he fills us with his peace
Let's just rest in Jesus's finished work
And from our own works let us cease

[rap]
As we converse face to face at his throne of grace,
Mutually enjoying each other, I hear him say, “my dear friend, my brother.”
He says, “relax, come approach me.” and then I pour out my heart and let him coach me,
He trains me in his ways of love, and all my ways I let go of,
And then I'm free, yeah I'm free indeed
To walk with him and let him lead me in a bold yet gentle love That fear-lessly,
reclaims all the ground that that prowling enemy has stolen, But now through love , the soul is restored
It's just what happens when we walk with our Lord

[speaking voice]
His presence is with us and in us,
Jesus is the victor and in every situation he gives us, His people,,the victory
Sit with him,
walk with him,
stand with him

[outro]
[singing]
Let’s just rest in Jesus’ finished work, and from our own works, let us cease.
[final chord]
