When Your Midnight Finds My Morning
[Thank you satinrain 👉 https://suno.com/@satinrain] [A World That Never Sleeps 🎶https://suno.com/song/2d1a9de2-352f-404f-b4f4-58493c7a652f] [This story is dedicated to the friends/creators I have met on Suno, even if we've never communicated.] [This story was inspired by SatinRain's instrumental comment and my experiences here.] [Intro] Three little lights on three different maps... None of us knew what they would become. ... Hello. [Verse 1] One of us wakes with the morning sun, One watches afternoon turn gold, One sits beneath a two a.m. window While the rest of the house grows cold. Three countries on a glowing screen, Three accents learning what words mean, Three first languages between us— then somebody shared a song. One grew up with records turning, One remembers burned CDs, One has only known a world where every song lives instantly. Different years, different lives, different skies above our homes— But somehow through these little speakers, none of us feels quite alone. [Pre-Chorus] Your goodnight arrives with my coffee. My sunrise finds you still awake. You send a melody before you sleep— I hear it half a world away. [Chorus] When your midnight finds my morning, send a little light across the sea. I'll leave a harmony waiting for whenever you wake up and hear me. The world keeps turning, the messages fly, someone says hello while someone says goodnight. Different clocks, different words, different lives we're moving through— But somewhere in this sleepless world, I'm making something here with you. [Post-Chorus] Goodnight— good morning— night-night-night— morning— still here... still here... [Verse 2] It started underneath a song I almost didn't dare to share. A little comment: "This made me feel something." Funny how a friendship starts from there. Soon I knew the rain outside your window, You knew the view beside my chair, We learned which jokes survived translation and which ones absolutely went nowhere. Some sentences came out backwards, some meanings got lost on the way. But laughter never needed subtitles, and music always knew what to say. You'd send a file called "maybe." I'd send one back called "try this." Then our third friend added something none of us knew the song had missed. And I went to sleep with eight quiet bars— then woke to something beautiful. [Pre-Chorus] Your yesterday becomes my today. My afternoon becomes your night. We never seem to meet the same sunrise— yet somehow the timing feels right. [Chorus] When your midnight finds my morning, send a little light across the sea. I'll leave a harmony waiting for whenever you wake up and hear me. The world keeps turning, the messages fly, someone laughs softly on the other side. Different clocks, different words, different lives we're moving through— But somewhere in this sleepless world, I'm making something here with you. [Glitch Drop] [Vocal Chops] Here-with-you— you-you-you— half-a-world— away-away— still here— still here— [Bridge] Maybe that's the strange new miracle. Not the wires. Not the screens. Not that music crosses oceans in less time than it takes to dream. It's that somewhere a person I once would never have known now notices when I disappear. Someone asks, "You okay?" Someone remembers what I said three months ago. Someone thousands of miles away recognizes my heart inside four chords. And sometimes... that's enough to make the whole enormous world feel very small. [Build] One presses send. One wakes up. One stays awake five minutes longer. The song moves east. The song moves west. And none of us knows where it really began anymore. [Final Chorus] When your midnight finds my morning, send your little light across the sea. If today was heavy where you are, leave a piece of it here with me. The world keeps turning, but now I know there are hearts awake everywhere it goes. Different ages, different languages, different worlds we once belonged to— Yet somehow all these roads of light kept moving until they led me to you. So goodnight from my side of the world. Good morning from yours. Keep making something beautiful. I'll hear it when I wake. [Outro] [Whisper] Three little lights on three different maps. Still glowing. ... Still here. [End]
