[Intro] This is the day the Lord has made This is the day the Lord has made [Verse 1] The screen lights up the ceiling At the top of the hour A hundred things are waiting That are out of my power I did not build this morning But the morning was made You called it good when You made it I am not afraid [Verse 2] No armor of my own So I’m wearing what You give The belt of truth, the breastplate That is how I live Shield up, feet planted I will take the ground and hold Not an inch to the enemy Not a piece of my soul Say it plain, I am weak And that is where You are strong Apart from You I can do nothing I am Yours alone [Pre-Chorus] The battle is not mine But it belongs to the King So I show up, I stand up I give You everything [Chorus] This is the day the Lord has made! We will not run, we will not be afraid! So hold the line and stand and fight Not my strength but the power of Your might This is the day, this is Your day! Let the mountains fall, let the earth give way! Whatever comes, we walk it through Shoulder to shoulder, Lord, me and You [Verse 3] Set my face like a flint I will not be ashamed Every step of this day I am walking in Your name Do not have to be the loudest Do not have to be first Just faithful in the small things Steady in the worst Task by task and line by line And none of it is mine Nothing wasted, nothing lost Every minute Yours Let me be the hands of Christ Let me be the feet And let me carry someone When the road gets steep [Chorus] This is the day the Lord has made! We will not run, we will not be afraid! So hold the line and stand and fight Not my strength but the power of Your might This is the day, this is Your day! Let the mountains fall, let the earth give way! Whatever comes, we walk it through Shoulder to shoulder, Lord, me and You [Bridge] Not by might, not by power But by Your Spirit Not by might, not by power But by Your Spirit If You are for me Then who could stand against me You go out ahead of me You are covering my back I am not the one in charge I am not holding the crown Just a man on his feet Who refuses to lie down The strong ones fall And the young ones grow tired But the ones who wait on You Are lifted higher [Battle Cry] Here am I! Send me! [Final Chorus] This is the day the Lord has made! We will not run, we will not be afraid! So hold the line and stand and fight Not my strength but the power of Your might This is the day, this is Your day! Let the mountains fall, let the earth give way! Whatever comes, we walk it through Shoulder to shoulder, Lord, me and You [Outro] Shoulder to shoulder, Lord, me and You Shoulder to shoulder, Lord, me and You This is the day the Lord has made
