[Intro] Paulo Freire. Pedagogy of the Oppressed. 1968. "No one teaches another, nor is anyone self-taught. People teach each other, mediated by the world." The most dangerous book in education. Indoctrination's emancipation. [Verse 1. The Banking Model] Banking model: teacher deposits, student receives the sum, Knowledge as transaction, student mind soaking sponge. "Open textbooks to page thirty-seven, memorise the date, Answer's in the back, don't deliberate, reiterate and replicate." The student is an empty vessel where teacher fills the cup, The power flows one direction: down but never up. Freire saw pattern: the banking model IS oppression, Not just a method, a governance structure in political session. Teachers who deposit knowledge control what knowledge counts, Curriculums designed by power decide approved amounts. "History", whose history? "Science", whose questions asked? "Literature", whose stories? Banking model be a mask education wears when education be servant to state, pavlovian obedience, drooling for "graduate" steak [Hook] Education isn't filling a cup, It's using lights reflections to universally look up. Freire's ghost in every classroom that refuses to comply, Pedagogy of the oppressed: exploration of subversive why. [Verse 2. The Problem-Posing] Freire's alternative: problem-posing education, circle not row, teacher-student and student-teacher, hierarchy let go. "What do we see in our community? What do we want to change? What knowledge do we already carry? What's within range?" The answers not in textbooks, it's in the room's own breath, Curriculum emerges from lives lived, not academic death. Conscientização: critical consciousness, awareness that awakes when student sees system that the banking model makes. Not anger, agency. Not rebellion, recognised choice to participate in one's liberation, finding one's voice that the banking model silenced through grade, test, and chair bolted down in rows, architecture of unfair despair. Circles don't have a front, every seat equal ground around, problem resolved by governance without the crown bound. [Hook] Education isn't filling a cup, It's using lights reflections to universally look up. Freire's ghost in every classroom that refuses to comply, Pedagogy of the oppressed: exploration of subversive why. [Verse 3 .The Practice] Every community programme that treats participants as blank colonises, regardless of logo, regardless of rank. "We're here to help", by who's defined need? Who wrote the brief? If the community didn't ask the question, answer's a thief of agency, self-determination, of the oldest human right: to name one's own world, to author one's own plight. Freire's ghost walks every hallway where the powerless are taught by those who've never questioned what teachings have brought to serve: the market, the state, institution's reproduction, Or liberation of the student's own restitution in construction? Community-led pedagogy is Freire breathing still, Ouroboros circles comuna, question distilled sisyphusly uphill: "What's known? What's needed? What do we build together?" Freire's ghost: the pedagogy that transforms whether from banking to liberation, from deposit to dialogical, From row to circle, radially ontologically logical. [Bridge] bell rings. class ends. students file to the hall. But the question stays in the room, outlasts them all. "Why is the cup empty?" That's Freire's ghost. Still asking. Still waiting to stop banking and start building. [Outro] Freire's ghost circling every question that unsettles, Start by asking, not by boiling a kettle full of steeped bias poured in anothers cup, Education opens opportunity for the oppressed to stand up.
