We, Walk along this road, Not knowing- or caring, Where it goes. These lights, Blink- In and out of time. Over the horizon, Leaving me to question- If they were ever there. You- Carve out space. The clock seems to tick slower, when you're nearby. Like a satelite, I wonder why- The world around me, stays still, As I make my rounds, Observing your phenomenons, And herding the tides. still- I float overhead, Even if you can't see me, I'm on the other side, Waiting for my reprise So- Let's walk a while, And watch stars around us, Stare in disbelief, When we fly right by. Going faster than they could, Ever hope to try. Time- just can't contain you, Light just can't keep up, And so it drags me down. I- Left home long ago, The memories and the albums, Never included me anyway. When- I think of you, All patterns and the numbers, Get easier to read, But harder to explain. We'll use the proof for bus fare, Catch the transit, Up to heaven, But we gotta make a stop at hell. All- Of the unknown, Doesn't scare me as much, As what we, already know. Now- All that's left, Is the rest of the show. Sit back relax, It's not like we've got, Somewhere to go.
