Instead, I invite you to listen closely and share with me what kind of story it is able to paint for you with instruments alone. At the beginning of this second album, I said I would be investing more time and thought into some future tracks. [REMEMBRANCE] is my answer to that: my longest track yet by a decent margin, and likely my longest one for a while. Those familiar enough with a certain piece of fantasy media might recognize why I chose to make this my fourteenth release specifically, though it only takes vague inspiration from said reference before evolving into its own story. What does it mean to inherit the memories of a past life? The sole bearer of the last remaining records of a people and civilization long since turned to ash and scattered in the wind. How might one carry this obscure burden of knowledge, and how might it affect your bearing amidst others? A bygone era, its faded glory, a vestige lost to time... Its total oblivion held at bay by a single, lone soul. In one of my previous songs, [CRESCENTIA], I shared a very clear story, one that directly reflected my own vision. Here, I will do the opposite. To anyone who has taken the time to join me on this journey, I sincerely invite you to tread upon the road of memory and share with me the story this song paints for you, the shape that this long faded era takes.
