[Verse] Out of Jesse's root He came a light so pure Ancient words they called out this King to endure Branches from the lineage steadfast and true From David's royal line bringing life anew [Verse 2] With a spirit of wisdom and the fear of the Lord He stands with righteous justice as His sword Counsel and might with knowledge to bestow In His love He leads us where the rivers flow [Chorus] Root of Jesse rise now bring the promised dawn Our Spirit guiding Savior leading us on Hearts turn to see Him nations now rejoice Holy Spirit whisper we will hear Your voice [Verse 3] Justice for the poor He'll bring the right decree In His reign no evil all the people free Wolf dwells with lamb and peace fills the land Harmony , security, miracles at hand [Bridge] Filled with the Spirit life springs from dust Every prophecy fulfilled in love we trust Infinite the power of His grace to heal Hearts transformed forever in His truth we kneel [Chorus] Root of Jesse rise now bring the promised dawn Our Spirit guiding Savior leading us on Hearts turn to see Him nations now rejoice Holy Spirit whisper we will hear Your voice
