🕊️ The body shifts — so does the shade, A restless wind, a wave unmade. The hand reaches out to grasp the night, But shadow flees from grasp and light. What moves cannot contain the flame, And so we chase the ghost we name. Shadowless, the stillness stays, Beyond the mind that twists and sways. The truth is quiet, wide and clear, It holds no front, it hides no fear. No footstep made, no journey done — The watcher watches, needing none. The knowing now, the present flame, It bears no shape, it seeks no name. But memory walks a winding track, It casts a shadow pulling back. The past returns in dream disguise, And paints the truth with borrowed eyes. The mind believes the shadow true. It scrubs and scrapes — the black won’t move. But what is shade if not the lack, Of one who turns and won’t look back? You cannot fix what isn't there. Just stand in stillness. Just be aware. Shadowless, the stillness stays, While all illusions fall away. We are not shadow, not the storm — But something silent, vast, and warm. The truth unmoved, beyond the flame — No need for shadow. No need for name.
