He said, “Mate, don’t frown, don’t carry that load, Life’s got a beat if you follow the road.” I said, “You’re a fancy-looking bushland fool,” He said, “Nah mate, I’m just keepin’ the cool.” So I laughed at myself, took a breath, took stock, Did a little two-step on the back porch block, And the whole wide morning started swingin’ free, Like the sun came up just to copy me.
