[Verse 1] Saturday afternoon The whole week was finally gone I'd find my place upon the sofa Before my favorite shows came on The world outside could wait a little Adventure was about to start Heroes, music, dreams and stories Living somewhere in my heart [Pre-Chorus] Every week I couldn't wait For that familiar feeling [Chorus] Saturday was ours Those were the days Saturday was ours In so many ways Every song Every story Every hero shining bright Saturday was ours And everything felt right [Verse 2] The opening themes would start playing And suddenly the room was gone We'd travel oceans, roads and cities Before the afternoon moved on Those melodies are still inside me Still alive after all these years Bringing back those golden moments With a smile and not a tear [Bridge] Turn it up Let it play Bring those memories back today [Final Chorus] Saturday was ours Those were the days Saturday was ours In so many ways Every song Every story Every hero shining bright Saturday was ours And everything felt right [Outro] Saturday was ours... Saturday was ours... One more time...
