[Verse 1] Moses is gone but the promise stands Joshua's boots hit holy ground He looks at the river cold and wide and hears Your voice on the other side The camp holds still with the morning breeze You say be strong and lead like Me Not by your fear not by your name But by the Word that never changes [Pre-Chorus] Step by step they move ahead Priests in front with the ark outspread The Jordan breaks when faith obeys And dry ground rises beneath their praise [Chorus] Choose this day choose this day Choose this day who you will serve Choose this day choose this day We will stand on the promise and trust Your word [Verse 2] Jericho sleeps behind its wall Stone on stone it thinks it cannot fall Seven days they circle in line With trumpet sound and hearts aligned No sword can boast no wall can stay When Heaven speaks and makes a way The shout goes up the ground gives room And mercy walks into the tomb [Pre-Chorus] Step by step they move ahead Priests in front with the ark outspread The Jordan breaks when faith obeys And dry ground rises beneath their praise [Chorus] Choose this day choose this day Choose this day who you will serve Choose this day choose this day We will stand on the promise and trust Your word [Bridge] As for my house we're Yours alone You brought us here and made us known When the giants speak and fear gets loud Your hand still lifts the faithful proud The land is gift the battle's Yours The song we sing will shake these shores So take our will take all we are And lead us on like a guiding star [Final Chorus] Choose this day choose this day Choose this day who you will serve Choose this day choose this day We will stand on the promise and trust Your word Choose this day choose this day Let the walls fall down Let the doubters learn Choose this day choose this day We will walk in faith and watch it turn
