Freedom ( ingles ) 1

Freedom, you who weave the wings of the eagle in flight freedom, you who sail lightly upon the open blue sea freedom, you who fertilize the earth with the fresh downpour. ( Freedom ) if you are absent, with what longing I await you, I wait for you from my window, while I listen to the cold wind that blows, that beats, that mistreats, that carves, furrows on the skin, that mutilates bodies, that kills, that stains the seas black and extinguishes the sun´s brillance, that turns sweet songs into weeping and despair, and the pure beauty of gold into old, rusty iron. Freedom, I await you from my window until the new wind, with its clarifying strength, cleaneses the dark skies, and I see the morning star shine, until I see how the raging waves of the sea do not flood the soft sand, until I see how eatch human possesses their own star, until I see how the color of skin paints a beautiful picture and not a condemnation, and until your skin turns to silk and in your being, nothing is superfluous nor lacking, until I see the Qeen of Deams dethtoned, and free from her captivity, those whom you love. Freedom, when you come, the earth and the sky will be adorned, the sun will don its golden brooch, the moon will display its white pearl, and with a mantle of flowers, the valleys and mountains will be clothed. Freedom, you have been absent for so long, how eagerly I await you.
