Before His crucifixion and burial, Jesus prayed three times in the garden of Gethsemane, Expressing obedience to the will of His Father, El Shaddai, God Almighty. When Jesus prayed, He was grieved deeply! That the cup of suffering, be taken from Him, was His humble plea! Nevertheless, He submitted to God's will ultimately. While Jesus and the disciples ate the Passover, Jesus said, assuredly, One of you will betray me! This was the sorrowful reply, Lord, is it I? They wondered among themselves, who would the betrayer be? Jesus answered, he who dipped his hand with Me in the dish will betray me! Woe to the one by whom the Son of man is betrayed! Then Judas became afraid! He said Rabbi, is it I? Jesus said to him, you have said it! Alas! Judas was the culprit! After the kiss and thirty pieces of silver, Judas was guilty of being the betrayer! And when Judas realized, he had sinned, he brought back the silver. But he was rejected by the chief priest and elders vehemently! Sadly, Judas departed and hanged himself shamefully. Oh what a pity! What an awful tragedy! The angry mob mocked Jesus, spat in His face, tore His clothes, slapped and beat Him, But Jesus remains the Saviour and Light that never goes dim. Hallelujah! Hosanna! Hosanna! In humble adoration, we worship Him. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! We worship, exalt and honour Him! The uncontrollable crowd shouted, give us Barabas! Give us Barabas! And crucify Jesus! Crucify Jesus! Jesus was falsely accused but He answered nothing! He was condemned but didn't say a word in spite of what was happening! A crown of thorn was placed on His head! Oh for wretched sinners, Jesus' blood was shed! For us, Jesus' blood was shed on the cross at Calvary, To save, redeem, deliver and set us free from sin's captivity! Our Lord Jesus was brutally crucified! He was nailed to the cross, there He bled and died. It is finished! It is finished, with a loud voice, Jesus cried! Dear Lord, Jesus, Jesus be magnified and glorified! After His burial, in a borrowed tomb, they put the body of Jesus. Oh what an enormous price, Jesus paid for us! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! On the third day, Jesus arose triumphantly! Up from the grave, He arose triumphantly! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! We give Him thanks and praises continually. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Jesus is alive! Glory! Glory! He sits at the right hand of His Father, Adonai, God Almighty, And intercedes for us when we are accused by the adversary. Hallelujah! Jesus' blood gives life and victory! Yes, Jesus' blood heals, gives life and victory! To Him, we surrender our lives completely, And secure our dwelling place in heaven with Him for Eternity! Hallelujah! Amen! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Amen!
