[Verse 1 — Female Lead] Midnight strikes The floorboards creak Three little dolls Begin to sneak Down the stairs Across the floor Tiny footsteps Behind the door Painted smiles And porcelain skin Our favorite game Is about to begin! [Pre-Chorus — Three Voices] One little giggle! Two little screams! Three little dolls! From your worst dreams! [Chorus — All Three] Our favorite game is PLAY DEAD! Painted smiles and tilted heads! Close your eyes, count to ten! Watch us come alive again! WE PLAY DEAD! WE PLAY DEAD! We don't sleep, we just pretend! WE PLAY DEAD! WE PLAY DEAD! We'll be waiting by your bed! [Verse 2 — Female Lead] Someone's walking Down the hall Three little dolls Against the wall Turn your back We creep ahead Turn around We're playing dead! One's behind you One's upstairs One is hiding Beneath the stairs! [Bridge — Stop-Start Metal Breakdown] [Doll 1] Fall down flat! [Doll 2] Don't make a sound! [Doll 3] Three little bodies! On the ground! [All Three — Building] Come a little closer! Look into our eyes! ONE! TWO! THREE! SURPRISE! [Final Chorus — All Three, Full Metal Energy] Our favorite game is PLAY DEAD! [Outro — Three Voices] WE PLAY DEAD! WE PLAY DEAD!
