[organ and piano enter]
The nine disciples on the mountain base
Were all challenged to the core, as face to face
They met a force of demons, brave and strong
The likes of whom they were taking down, all along….

Chorus: [organ drops, piano fades in]
In the middle of the darkness when your faith won’t ignite
When you are facing dark shadows, resistant to the light
Here’s the secret of the moment, one on which the saints did rely
Fall to your knees and say please, Sweet Jesus hear my humble cry
Save me, ere I perish, come and rescue me, ere I will die [repeats prayerfully] ere I will die.

[Verse 2]
[without much music, just a piano pick, c major]
He came out early to embrace the dawn of day
When the host of the of the armies of Syria stood in the way
Oh Master, he cried, behold what sudden danger what will we do,
The man of God without hesitation, who had a glimpse of heavenly view….

[organ and piano enter]
As prayers were heard, his young charge could see
The mountains ablaze, with chariots, sent from the heavenly
Just when things look hopeless and blinded eyes can’t see
The God of nations will come down to you, from eternity….

Outro:
…..Ooooh…. So, when your faith just won’t ignite
And things don’t seem to be working alright
Remember [repeat in hushed tones] remember…
When you’ve reached the end of you, above the clamor and din,
Remember that’s when true faith, can.....begin…..
[piano fade out]

Verse 1: [without much music, just a piano pick, c major] You light a match to the dying candle wick, But for some strange reason, it doesn’t stick Just when you need it, at the break of night, Your dimmed and fading faith, just won’t ignite…… [organ and piano enter] The nine disciples on the mountain base Were all challenged to the core, as face to face They met a force of demons, brave and strong The likes of whom they were taking down, all along….
