Order My Steps Sermon 1
# Sunday Scroll ## Ordered Steps **Scripture:** Psalm 37:23 Beloved, there are seasons when life feels uncertain. We wonder if we are moving in the right direction. We question whether the doors opening before us are divine opportunities or distractions. Yet the Psalmist reminds us of a powerful truth: **The steps of a good person are ordered by the Lord.** Notice that God orders our **steps**, not always our entire journey at once. We often seek the full map while God provides the next faithful step. Divine guidance is frequently revealed one moment, one decision, one act of obedience at a time. To have ordered steps does not mean a life free from challenges. The very next verse declares that though they fall, they shall not be utterly cast down. This tells us that God's guidance includes grace for our mistakes, strength for our struggles, and restoration for our setbacks. Today, trust that every prayer offered in sincerity, every act of kindness, every lesson learned, and every door that opens or closes can become part of God's ordering of your path. What appears to be a delay may be preparation. What feels like a detour may be divine redirection. As spiritual seekers, ministers, healers, and servants of humanity, we are invited to walk not by fear but by faith. The Creator delights in those who seek wisdom, justice, compassion, and truth. When we align our hearts with these sacred principles, our footsteps become part of a greater purpose. ### Reflection Questions * What step is Spirit asking me to take today? * Where have I seen divine guidance in my life recently? * Am I trusting the journey even when I cannot see the destination? ### Prayer ASE, Divine Creator, order my steps according to Your wisdom. Grant me discernment when choices arise, courage when challenges appear, and faith when the road ahead is unclear. Help me walk in integrity, compassion, and purpose. May every step I take bring healing, peace, and greater alignment with Your will. ASE. ### Affirmation **My steps are ordered by Divine Wisdom. I move forward with faith, purpose, and trust. ASE.**
