[Intro] (Hahahahaha...) [Verse 1] Rising from the underground Eternally to earth be bound The hour of the dead is moving on ahead They'll wander through the streets tonight Spreading fear and endless fright The hour of the dead lives inside your head [Chorus] There's dead people everywhere Skeletons, ghouls, and the crippling fear There's paper bags everywhere Candy on the ground, and children all around It's now... That time of year It's October... It's filled with fear [Verse 2] Escapists from the catacombs Walks the streets all around The hour of the dead, a minute past the dread Captured souls of joyful youth Unveiling the October truth The hour of the dead — the halloween plague [Chorus] There's dead people everywhere Skeletons, ghouls, and the crippling fear There's paper bags everywhere Candy on the ground, and children all around It's now... That time of year It's October... It's filled with fear [Post-Chorus] Halloween, halloween, halloween.. That time of year [Bridge] Don't be frightened Don't be scared Just walk with us Into the nightmare 'Cause down below Where there's fun and games You'll feel like home in The eternal flames [Chorus] There's dead people everywhere Skeletons, ghouls, and the crippling fear There's paper bags everywhere Candy on the ground, and children all around It's now... That time of year [Chorus] There's dead people everywhere Skeletons, ghouls, and the crippling fear There's paper bags everywhere Candy on the ground, and children all around It's now... That time of year It's October... It's filled with fear
