[Verse 1] In a quiet little winter town, When the snow came tumbling down, Kids were laughing, red-cheeked fun, Building friends one by one. Coal-black eyes and a carrot grin, Old top hat sitting proud and thin, No one knew what had begun Till the snowman winked and run! [Chorus] Oh, Snowman on the run, Sliding fast just for fun! With a jig and a laugh and a winter cheer, He’s dancing through the end of the year! Oh, Snowman on the run, Better catch him if you can! With a hop and a spin in the frosty sun, What a jolly, jolly snowman! [Verse 2] Down the street and past the store, Tap-tap-tapping on the floor, Children chasing, shouting loud, Pointing fingers, laughing proud. Traffic stopped with friendly cheer, Every smile growing ear to ear, Even grown-ups joined the fun Chasing after snowy runs! [Bridge - Spoken / Sung Lightly] “Don’t you worry, don’t you cry, I’ll be back before goodbye…” [Verse 3] Clouds rolled in and the sun came out, Snowman started looking about, Tip of the hat and a friendly wave, Every smile he ever gave. “Keep the magic, keep the cheer, I’ll return again next year,” With a wink and a laugh begun, Off he went when the day was done. [Final Chorus - Bigger, Extra Cheer] Oh, Snowman on the run, Winter magic’s never done! When the snow falls bright and white, He’ll be back some frosty night! Oh, Snowman on the run, Hearts stay warm when days are cold! Every laugh and every pun Keeps his story always told! [Outro] So remember when the snow falls deep, Magic’s closer than you think.
