[Verse 1] Boot up the van, grab the gear from the back, Flashlight flickers yeah it’s already black. Spirit box crackles did you hear that reply Or is it just my brain playing tricks in the sky Doors start creaking temperature drops fast Someone just whispered hope it’s not the last We’re laughing too loud but it’s getting real That ghost orb glow is the only thing we feel [Pre-Chorus] We write it down don’t turn around Heartbeat’s syncing with the haunted sound [Chorus] EMF in the dark we’re chasing the spark Trying to prove what’s hiding in the dark Was it a Shade was it a Wraith We’re guessing our fate in a cursed little place Hold the crucifix tight don’t lose your light We’re ghost hunting till the end of the night [Verse 2] Sanity’s low but we still go inside Cameras set up where the shadows collide Ghost writing books with a message unknown Feels like we’re never really alone Footsteps behind us but no one’s there Cold breath rising in the stairwell air Someone just screamed was it part of the test Or did the spirit just fail the request [Pre-Chorus] We split the team but we stick to the plan Even if something’s grabbing my hand [Chorus] EMF in the dark we’re chasing the spark Trying to prove what’s hiding in the dark Was it a Demon a Poltergeist game Every investigation feels like the same Hold the crucifix tight don’t lose your light We’re ghost hunting till the end of the night [Bridge] Lights go out panic sets in Did we anger something living within Run to the truck but the door won’t start Guess we’ve been part of the haunting from the start [Final Chorus] EMF in the dark now we’ve found the mark No longer searching now we’re part of the dark Was it a ghost or something more We’re still here knocking on the spirit board Hold the line tight fading from sight We’re stuck in the map till the end of the night
