A mysterious wind rises, The curtain lifts on tonight's feast. [Verse 1] Under the moonlight that melts into the darkness, Lantern lights sway as they move forward. Countless yokai gather, An enchanting parade colors this night. Snow women dance with petals white, Noppera-bo grins with a ghostly smile. Umbrella spirits spin around, Like butterflies of the night, they soar. [Chorus 1] A hundred demons march along the road, Oni, tengu, and zashiki-warashi dance. Even the onmyoji stands in awe, As boundaries blur between this world and the next. [Verse 2] Kappa play flutes as they walk, Fox brides twirl their parasols. One-eyed boys hold lanterns high, Their red light piercing the dark night. Bakeneko race across rooftops, The kasa-obake laughs and chortles. From Dojoji, Oiran rings the bells, As the veil lifts on the night’s eerie feast. [Bridge 1] The human world and the yokai world, Entwine and begin their midnight dance. Seen and unseen things now blend, In this midnight festival’s bewitching trance. [Verse 3] A hundred-eyed yokai gaze into the night, Tongue-stretching ghosts laugh and tease. Lantern spirits form a row, Guiding the way with their strange glow. The nine-tailed fox dances gracefully, Tengu’s wings stir up the air. Demon flames color the night sky, As yokai’s songs echo far and wide. [Bridge 2] Sing and dance, this is tonight’s feast, A door to a hidden world opens. In the boundary of shadow and light, A secret festival begins. [Chorus 2] A hundred demons march along the road, Drawn by tonight’s moon, they journey on.
