HE WAS STRONG [Verse 1] When the road was hard and long, When the night was cold and strong, He kept walking through the pain, Trusting God through wind and rain. Though the world could not understand, He still held the Father’s hand, Every trial made him see, God was always faithfully. [Pre-Chorus] When his strength was almost gone, He believed and carried on, Not by power, not by might, But by faith that brought the light. [Chorus] He was strong because he trusted You, Through every storm, he made it through. When he fell, You raised him again, You gave him courage through the pain. He was strong, but not alone, Your loving hand became his own. Through every battle, every fight, You were his strength, You were his light. [Verse 2] There were days he cried in silence, There were moments filled with fear, But he knew the Lord was near. Every burden, every scar, Could not stop him from going far. He remembered God's promise true, And found the strength to make it through. [Pre-Chorus] When his heart was tired and weak, He found the words he needed to speak: “Lord, I trust Your perfect way, Give me strength for one more day.” [Chorus] He was strong because he trusted You, Through every storm, he made it through. When he fell, You raised him again, You gave him courage through the pain. He was strong, but not alone, Your loving hand became his own. Through every battle, every fight, You were his strength, You were his light. [Bridge] If I am weak, You make me strong, If I am lost, You lead me on. When I am tired, I will believe, Your grace is all I really need. I will not fear, I will not run, My strength is found in Christ alone. [Final Chorus] I will be strong because I trust You, Through every storm, You’ll bring me through. When I fall, You’ll raise me again, Your grace will carry me to the end. I am strong, but not alone, You are my refuge, You are my home. Through every battle, every fight, You are my strength, You are my light. [Outro] You are my strength... You are my light... With You, Lord, I will be strong.
