The musical journey into the world of “Where time flows downward…” : https://suno.com/playlist/4242fb7f-99f0-47f6-bab7-7f2f0d751734 _________________________________ Dark red halls, the corridors are wide, The masked parade is in full swing. In flower-rooms where spirits hide, The frenzied dances start to ring. We walked with dragons, moons upon our arms, Porcelain masks whirled in the frenzied air. A burning torch, a lute with trembling charms, All whispering one name no one could bear. Your urgent, Your beckoning call, so haunting and so fleet, I danced with a courtesan of Sodom’s lore. I grieved for something, laughed at something sweet, And felt a strange familiarity at the core. A memory of the masks we’ve played. You reminded me of an ancient tale I knew, One I had heard in days long lost to view. To all the world you’ll stay forever strange, But to my soul, endlessly familiar, strange. We’ll hide from the crowd and all their masks. I’ll hide, That I know you, oh Queen of Sodom, by your side. Beneath the mask, I heard your youthful laugh so clear, Our glances met, as time itself stood still, I swear. Again we walked with dragons, moons upon our arms, Porcelain masks spun in the chaos of the dark. Then by the window, where the night loomed grim and calm, Her face grew cold, a threat that left its mark. You slipped away like a serpent in the gloom, Tore off her mask and stared into my eyes. I remembered then - the same wild, fevered tune, The same fierce tremor, burning through the lies. The tender, sly whisper, soft as a sigh in the air: “This Sunday, rise again—for pain and for despair, For life and for joy, let your soul be reborn anew.” I heard it all again, as if the past came back to me, true....(true...) For pain and for despair, For life and for joy…
