[Chorus] Come on and swing, do the Donkey Swing, Bray out loud, let the brass band ring! Clap your hands, let the rhythm take wing, Everybody’s dancin’ to the Donkey Swing! [Verse 1] He struts through the barn with a tip and a glide, Hooves keep snappin’ in a jazzy stride. Bass walks steady, the trumpet sings, It’s a barnyard party when the donkey swings! [Chorus] Come on and swing, do the Donkey Swing, Bray out loud, let the brass band ring! Clap your hands, let the rhythm take wing, Everybody’s dancin’ to the Donkey Swing! [Verse 2] The chickens all jitter, the cows cut a rug, The pig plays trombone with a brassy shrug. The donkey brays sweet in a horn-like fling, And the whole world jumps to the Donkey Swing! [Final Chorus – repeat, big finish] Come on and swing, do the Donkey Swing, Bray out loud, let the brass band ring! Clap your hands, let the rhythm take wing, Everybody’s dancin’ to the Donkey Swing!
