[Verse] Tom was the neighborhood watch, oh what a sight With his binoculars by day, and his flashlight by night But one fateful day, things took a twisting turn Tom grabbed his chainsaw, and his leg he did burn [Verse 2] With his crutches and bandages, he patrolled the streets Tom's determination, you couldn't beat He limped from door to door, keeping trouble away But his chainsaw mishap, was the talk of the day [Chorus] Oh, do the Tom's Twist, watch him as he swings With his crutches and braces, he still does his thing The neighborhood watch, he's got the spirit you see Tom's the hero we need, and he's crippled but free
