Trapped in a cubicle, my spirit's in chains, A corporate machine, driving me insane. Tasks that are menial, a waste of my time, Procedures are pointless, a corporate crime. Backstabbing co-workers, with smiles so sweet, A viper’s nest, beneath my feet. Bosses with egos, that reach for the sky, Demands that are endless, a reason to cry. Deadlines looming, a constant stress, Performance reviews, no time to rest. Meetings that drag on, a waste of my day, While my dreams and ambitions slowly fade away. The company culture, a toxic brew, Where backstabbing and gossip, is all that's true. I long for a change, a way to escape. A place to stay sane, and not as an ape. Procedures rule, where thoughts have no say, A soulless system, a corporate play. Systems are broken, no one knows why, Turning to robots, we silently cry. Running on empty, no time to eat, Meetings unexpected, a corporate bullshit. But I see a door, my chance to escape, I find myself in a different landscape
