🎵 Lyrics 🎵

Yo!
This is a rap about electricity
But not the kind that just lights up the city
We’re talkin’ volts, amps, resistance, the flow
Science in rhyme, so let’s go, go, go!

Electricity’s like water in a pipe
Except it moves charges, yeah, that type
The push that gets it movin’, that’s voltage, friend
It gives energy so electrons can bend

The flow of the charge, that’s what we call current
How fast it moves, if it’s slow or urgent
And the thing that tries to slow it down
That’s resistance, it fights the round

Now here's a rule that you'll see a lot
In labs, in books, in every spot
The voltage equals current times resistance
That’s Ohm’s Law, show it some persistence

Now let’s break down what resistance means
It’s more than just wires in machines
It depends on three things, check the list
Why does some stuff block and others assist

First up, the material's kind
Some let current fly, others fall behind
Copper, great, glass, no way
Metals move charge, rubber says Nay

Second, how long that wire goes
A long path makes resistance grow
Imagine traffic in a one-lane street
Longer road, less chance to beat

Third, the width of the wire’s face
A skinny path slows the race
Wider wire, more room to zoom
Like hallway space in a crowded room

Electricity’s in everything
From doorbells to drones and phones that ring
Circuits are paths that charges take
Open the switch, it’s a no-go break

Close it, boom, the current flows
Light bulb glows, the toaster goes
But wait, too much power, wires get hot
That’s why resistance matters a lot

It keeps the balance, controls the speed
So your tablet doesn’t overfeed
And guess what, when your charger’s warm
That’s resistance takin’ its form

So let’s review with a quick lil’ test
What’s the push that starts the quest
(Voltage)
What’s the flow of charge on track
(Current)
What slows it down and holds it back
(Resistance)

Now say it proud in the lab or pod
We learn with style like

Ohm my god!
