Children’s dreams carried whispers—some gentle as dawn’s first breeze, others tangled like thorns in night’s cloak. So the Great Spirit called upon the Weaver, the Spider of Worlds.” “The Spider wove a web of silken moonlight, stretching between sky and earth. She gathered the first morning dew on its fragile threads. ‘Catch the nightmares,’ she whispered, ‘let the sweet visions pass through my heart.’” “She formed a circle from Willow’s bend, each sinew knot a prayer for balance. The web would trap shadows of fear, while dreams of hope slipped through the center, drifting down like silver rain.” “When the first child slept beneath that web, nightmares vanished, leaving peaceful visions for the dawn. From then on, every family hung a Dreamcatcher above the cradle—a sacred guardian spun by Spider’s hand and blessed by the Great Spirit.”
