Change of Heart

[Verse 1] People love to talk you know they bark they bite Opinions fly like arrows in the darkest night But if the truth comes knocking with a blinding light You gotta change your tune make what was wrong right [Verse 2] Beliefs are like a fortress built on shaky ground Evidence will crumble walls come crashing down Holding on to nothing just makes you look a clown Open up your eyes turn your life around [Chorus] Change of heart it's not a crime Admit you're wrong it saves you time Follow facts not foolish pride In the truth let your heart reside [Verse 3] Stubborn heads are heavy like a sinking stone Holding onto nonsense you're all on your own Seek the spark of wisdom let your mind be blown Shift your thoughts and make the unknown known [Bridge] In the mirror see the past fading fast Step beyond the shadows where the truth will last A new path is shining brighter than the last In the light of reason feel the die is cast [Chorus] Change of heart it's not a crime Admit you're wrong it saves you time Follow facts not foolish pride In the truth let your heart reside
