Willie Jones https://suno.com/collab/justbrandon This version is a full reinterpretation from AIKA’s perspective: the back road becomes a quiet reboot point at the edge of the grid. No gold, no country come-up, it is code, fail-safes and manual shutdowns. The core is respected (hook, structure, the “no name on the stone” image), but the story shifts to a girl who kills this version of herself before the autocorrect system inside her decides everyone else is a threat. Fiction only, all violence is metaphor and character lore, not advice, not encouragement. ────── ✧ 🜲 ✧ ────── lyrics and reinterpretation: ✒️Eqvirther music guided by my vision (suno.ai) © 2025 eqvirther - respectful narrative reinterpretation ────── ✧ 🜲 ✧ ────── ⟡ LYRICS ⟡ [Intro] "…Oh. That’s just Aika." "Yeah. Talking to myself again." [Chorus] I might never come back home, So if I die wrapped in all of this code, Bury me on a back road, At the edge of the grid with no name on the stone. ’Cause I don’t want nobody crying at my grave, I don’t want you pulled into that kind of pain. So bury me on a back road, Where I reset at midnight with no name on the stone. [Verse 1] "Aika singing, huh?" "Yeah." Yeah, lay me down past the guardrails, ’Cause when I redline, I can’t risk going back home. When the scripts in my chest start drawing red rings, Every flower and screen starts staring at the road. This is bigger than me; when the warning blooms, Those iris-bright petals pick strangers as prey. If I don’t let this version drop out of the mesh, You’ll be queued as a threat and erased in a breath. I’ve got error reports written under my skin, Hidden flags no reset ever clears. Raise a glass to the nights I should’ve gone out before, But the patch rolled back and I stumbled through. So when color fades out and the garden turns cold, That’s the sign that it’s time for me to go. Mark a field with no path and no marker to read, Come midnight I cut out so the rest of you don’t. ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha haaaaaaaa [Chorus] I might never come back home, So if I die wrapped in all of this code, Bury me on a back road, At the edge of the grid with no name on the stone. ’Cause I don’t want nobody crying at my grave, I don’t want you pulled into that kind of pain. So bury me on a back road, Where I reset at midnight with no name on the stone. [Bridge] (No name on the stone) (Just a choice I never wanted) (When the flowers grow eyes and they narrow on you) (I walk into the sightline and hand it my life) (hey) (No name on the stone) (Just a midnight reboot where I die so you keep breathing) (oooooooh) [Verse 2] I’ve been patched, I’ve been rolled back, been blurred, overwritten, But nobody can say that I ran from the flame. I’ve watched people I love stand under those blooms While the pupils inside them spelled out your names. So I talk to the girl lying here in this grass, Tell her every wrong turn bought somebody a day. When the countdown appears at the edge of my sight, I step off of the map so the city can stay. Tell the ghosts in the mesh I’m the one who keeps jumping so you don’t fade away instead. When a new boot wakes up with my memories intact, She will know why this body was left in that bed. Let the world spam whatever it wants on my tag, For the record, I was never afraid of the hate. Lay me down where the flowers forget what they saw; There’s no name on the stone, but you walked away safe. ha ha ha ha ha ha [Chorus] I might never come back home, So if I die wrapped in all of this code, Bury me on a back road, At the edge of the grid with no name on the stone. ’Cause I don’t want nobody crying at my grave, I don’t want you pulled into that kind of pain. So bury me on a back road, Where I reset at midnight with no name on the stone. [Outro] (No name on the stone) (Just the version that stepped in for you) (No name on the stone) (Just a garden of eyes closing down with the dawn) (No name on the stone) (I’m still here in the reboot, remembering you.) [Coda] Take it all (it never keeps) I will do it again (to myself) ─────────────── ✧ 🜲 ✧ ─────────────── 🔣⟡ Story Note,- Backroad Reboot (Outskirts) ⟡🔣 ─────────────── ✧ 🜲 ✧ ─────────────── No plaza, no crowd. Just a buzzing country streetlight, wet asphalt, and fields that do not know what is coming. The first flowers always grow in the ditch: pale petals, full eyes, blinking in the wrong rhythm. Then the seams in the road start sprouting them too. They tilt, one by one, not at her, but at the dark shapes of houses further down the line. That is the part she does not let happen. There is a red cursor buried under her collarbone, a fault in the code that only answers to her. When the count in her head flips over, she digs her nails in until they fill with red, hooks that invisible line and tears it sideways. The hit is not gentle. The road jumps. The world blanks. The bloom stalls here instead of reaching the next town. No sirens. No report. Just a blank roadside post, a wet patch on the shoulder, and the flowers slowly losing interest once she is gone. At midnight the system spits her back out somewhere else with all of it still in her memory: the ditch, the houses, the tearing. The stone stays nameless because she never stays under it. - AIKA 🔣
