It's So Hot (Unplugged)
It's so hot… It's so hot, humidity breaking the hygrometer Red line snapping, thermometer 'bout to explode Sweat rolling down my neck like it’s got somewhere to go Air so thick I'm drowning slow, moving way too slow Fans spinning useless circles, pushing hot air in my face Feels like the whole damn world is stuck inside a microwave Windows open wide but the breeze never shows Ice in my glass melting faster than my patience goes Clothes sticking to my skin like a second burning layer Brain fog rolling heavy, thoughts melting in the haze Even the crickets sound too tired to sing tonight This heatwave got me questioning every wrong and right Hygrometer gave up, red tip snapped clean off That's how I know the heat done won, and I done had enough Cold shower lasts two seconds then I'm right back sweating again This ain't living, this is punishment with no end It's so hot, I can barely breathe So hot, got me down on my knees Saxophone crying out what my words can't say It's so hot… take this heat away It's so hot! But I'm still standing here Sweat and fire mixing with these burning tears Bassline thumping like my heartbeat fighting back Saxophone screaming everything the heat attacks It's so hot… but I refuse to break In this furnace I still find a way to stay awake It's so hot… Mmm… so damn hot…
