Our Cerberus may not have been in top form, but our soldiers were present. The first goal, scored by Saint Nick Suzuki, assisted by Saint Alexandre Texier, put us up one to zero. Then the Canadiens’ goal by Saint Alexandre Kapanen, assisted by Saint Ivan Demidov and Saint Juraj Slafkovský, carried us to two to zero. Then we absorbed four goals from the enemy clan of the Hurricanes with their fierce winds, with a goaltender who was staggering while still trying to do his very best. Hope came to us when Saint Samuel Blais, assisted by Saint Lane Hutson and Saint Brendan Gallagher, came to cut the deficit to three to four against the Hurricanes. It was then that Saint Cole Caufield, assisted by Saint Alexandre Texier, brought us back to equality, four to four. Saint Josh Anderson came to give us the lead, then Saint Juraj Slafkovský, assisted by Saint Jayden Struble and Saint Ivan Demidov, carried us to six to four. The opposing team then found a second wind by scoring a goal, but Saint Lane Hutson scored into an empty net to restore the gap to two goals. It was a narrow escape victory, seven goals to five. Many of our valiant ones were injured, but we return home with a victory that must be seized on the fly, despite opposing winds and sudden reversals. Go Habs Go, Go Habs Go. Hosanna and Amen. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamen. Let us rejoice.
