# Christmas at Tynefield Court [Intro – Soft Community Choir] Christmas lights are shining, Warmth is in the air. Through the winter evening, Kindness gathers here. [Verse 1 – Female] The corridors are glowing with the colours of the tree, There's music in the lounge and someone saving cake for me. A hundred little stories fill the rooms along the way, And familiar smiling faces bring some brightness to the day. [Verse 2 – Male] The staff are rushing round with cups of tea and festive cheer, There's laughter in the dining room, another Christmas here. Some moments may be difficult, some days are very long, But we can make a difference when we listen and belong. [Pre-Chorus – Duet] A gentle word, an open door, A little kindness means much more. When everyone is heard and seen, That's what Christmas ought to mean. [Chorus – Duet + Community Choir] Christmas at Tynefield Court, Let the bells of kindness ring. Every voice deserves its place, Every heart deserves to sing. Through the winter, through the snow, Let respect and friendship grow. Christmas at Tynefield Court, May its warmth be ours to know. [Verse 3 – Female] There's someone telling stories of the Christmases before, Of paper chains and childhood days and dancing on the floor. [Verse 4 – Male] And someone sits beside them just to hear what they might say, Because listening is a present we can offer every day. [Chorus – Full Choir] Christmas at Tynefield Court, Let the bells of kindness ring. Every voice deserves its place, Every heart deserves to sing. Through the winter, through the snow, Let respect and friendship grow. Christmas at Tynefield Court, May its warmth be ours to know. [Bridge – Duet] [Female] May those who feel forgotten find a friend. [Male] May patience stay beside us to the end. [Female] May every wish and worry have a place. [Male] May dignity and care fill every space. [Duet] No perfect day is promised, No winter without rain. But kindness shared between us Can bring the light again. [Final Chorus – Duet + SATB Choir] Christmas at Tynefield Court, Hear a hundred voices sing. May compassion fill the rooms, May the Christmas bells all ring. For the residents and carers, For the stories old and new, Christmas at Tynefield Court— Here's a heartfelt song for you. [Outro – Soft Choir] Peace within these walls tonight, Hope beneath the Christmas light.
