[Lore / Background]: "The Avarians have always been scavengers in nature, during their days as non-sentient lifeforms picking flesh off of the corpses of beasts and even more so in their tribal societies. The wingless pariahs of this great species are especially resourceful and innovative when it comes to reusing what others have left behind. Scrap metal, different parts and other materials can be repurposed into many kinds of machines or equipment. Among them is the invention of the Masorkaosrar (The Metalfeather), a more recent mode of transportation for those sentenced to a lifetime on the ground. Their affinity for battle also bleeds into the design of the Masokaosrar, where they often mount these aircraft with bombs, missiles and other armaments that can be found. Much like the Baoksredark, Masokaosrar pilots are often recruited as mercenaries for warfare by other tribes." [Verse I – Pilot One] I grip the yoke with talons tight, prairie below, orange sky alight. Our Masorkaosrar groans like a beast, stitched from wreckage, blessed by priests. Canvas hide and iron bone, cedar smoke from the engine’s moan. Brother beside me, eyes on the flame— today the heavens remember our name. [Verse 2] Strapped into the belly of the beast! Our ironclad mount awakens! Comrade, hold the yoke, let the mighty engines roar! We are the apex, the hunters of the upper currents, Tracing the canopy to settle the score! No chains to bind our hollow bones, no sovereign but the wind! The enemy cowers in the dirt where their treachery begins! [Pre-Chorus] My brother... I'll see you on the other side My brother... I'll see you on the other side [Chorus] We're dyin' today Don't be afraid Let me hear you say I'm ready... I'M READY! We both know We can't fly back home Once you let go Just ride the winds that blow If we fall, we fall as one— the wrath of the heavens has begun. [Verse III – The Assault] Bomb-racks shake, the fuselage screams, smoke trails coil like serpentine dreams. We dive through flak and rising heat, death sings bright beneath our feet. I hear him laugh through the engine roar, “Lower now—give them war!” We loose our payload, we leave our mark, daylight blooms from the valley dark. [Verse IV – The Counterfire] Then the ground awakens, iron-eyed, turrets bloom on the mountainside. Lines of light climb fast and clean, cutting holes through our metallic wings. The left wing snaps, the engine cries, sparks like stars in my brother’s eyes. He spits blood, but he grins at me— “Still alive. Still flying free.” [Pre-Chorus] My brother... [Verse I – Pilot One] I [Guitar Solo] [Verse V – The Descent] The Masorkaosrar rolls in the sand, trailing smoke upon our enemy's land. I see our village in my mind, the drums, the hunt, the old bloodline. He takes my hand, the ground draws near, no shame left, no room for fear. "A'ra okumsks sra ksork muv." [Pre-Chorus] My brother... [Outro] My brother... Today the heavens remember our name...
