Elohim - Shouldn't Be That Bad (Radio version)

[verse 1 - whispering male vocals] When you cry under the neon skies Just remember every single lie When they told you to calm down and bow Now you wonder how deep it goes [pre-chorus] Now you know by early morning Every lie is just a warning [chorus] Shouldn't be that bad Shouldn't be so sad Shouldn't hurt your heart Right from the start, Or Never Shouldn't go too low Shouldn't take the blow Shouldn't hurt your heart And fall apart, Forever [instrumental - orchestra strings, main melody variation] [verse 2 - whispering male vocals] You pretend it's only bad advice Oughta work out perfectly with lies Follow rules like a clueless puppet You're too blind before you plummet [pre-chorus] When your ignorance is soaring As expected, it's so boring [chorus] Shouldn't be that bad Shouldn't be so sad Shouldn't hurt your heart Right from the start, Or Never Shouldn't go too low Shouldn't take the blow Shouldn't hurt your heart And fall apart, Forever [instrumental - orchestra strings, main melody variation] [pre-chorus] "Don't believe your eyes", they say They could get you in some other way In the everlasting doomsday show They'll teach you all you need to know [chorus] Shouldn't be that bad Shouldn't be so sad Shouldn't hurt your heart Right from the start, Or Never Shouldn't go too low Shouldn't take the blow Shouldn't hurt your heart And fall apart, Forever [outro] [instrumental - orchestra strings, main melody variation]
