18. Alpha and Omega: The Apocalypse Unveiled Movement I: The Vision on Patmos & The Heavenly Throne

V5.5

(Verse 1) On the rocky isle of Patmos, banished by the sea, John was caught up in the Spirit, heard a voice set free. Like a trumpet in the silence, shining bright as brass, One like the Son of Man appears, beyond the sea of glass. Seven golden lampstands glowing, seven stars held tight, A two-edged sword of truth and power, eyes of blazing light. Letters sent to seven churches: hold the faith and stand, The First, the Last, the Living One holds history in His hand. (Verse 2) A door stands open up in heaven, thunder shakes the floor, Twenty-four elders casting crowns upon the glass-paved floor. Four living creatures endlessly declare the Holy Name, Who was, and is, and is to come, forever and the same. In the Father's right hand rests a scroll bound seven times, Who is worthy to unseal the fate of earthly crimes? No one in heaven, earth, or deep could open up the scroll, Till steps the Lamb as it were slain, to save the human soul. (Chorus) Worthy is the Lamb who died to buy us back with blood! Out of every tongue and nation, rising like a flood! Glory, honor, power, praise unto the Ancient King, Listen as the universe begins to bow and sing! Movement II: Seals, Trumpets, and the Four Horsemen (Verse 3) The first seal breaks, a white horse rides with conqueror's bow in hand. The second comes on fiery red to banish peace from land. The third seal brings a black horse bearing scales of famine dark. The fourth seal rides on pale disease, where death has left its mark. Martyrs under the altar cry: "How long, O Lord, how long?" The sixth seal shakes the cosmos with a terrifying song— The sun turns black, the moon to blood, the stars begin to fall, And kings hide out in mountain caves to escape the judgment call. (Verse 4) An interlude of mercy marks the servants on their brow, A hundred forty-four thousand sealed, a mighty army now. Then comes the seventh seal unbroken—silence fills the air, Thirty minutes quiet while the angel takes the prayer. Seven trumpets sound their warnings: hail and fire and blood, A burning mountain strikes the sea, a bitter wormwood flood. The sun is darkened, locusts swarm, the final woe is near, Yet saints hold fast to prophecy through every shock and fear. (Chorus) Worthy is the Lamb who died to buy us back with blood! Out of every tongue and nation, rising like a flood! Glory, honor, power, praise unto the Ancient King, Listen as the universe begins to bow and sing! Movement III: The Dragon, The Beasts, and The Bowls (Verse 5) A woman clothed with radiant sun, twelve stars upon her head, Gives birth unto the Promised Child while dragons wait in dread. Archangel Michael wage the war, the ancient serpent cast Down from the heights of heaven’s gate, his authority is past. Out of the sea a beast arises, blasphemy its crown, A false prophet tricks the earth to bow and worship down. A mark placed on the hand or brow to buy and sell and trade, But patient saints endure the test, unbowed and unafraid. (Verse 6) Angels fly across the mid-heaven with gospel truth to tell: "Fallen, fallen is Babylon, that built her reign on hell!" Seven angels take seven golden bowls filled up with wrath, Poured upon the dragon's kingdom, scorching every path. Sores and blood in every wave, the sun burns like a flame, Yet hardened hearts refuse to bow or call upon His name. At Armageddon forces gather, drawn into the snare, As darkness falls on Babylon and strips her glory bare. Movement IV: The Final Victory & The New Creation (Bridge) Hallelujah! For the Lord our God Almighty reigns! The marriage supper of the Lamb breaks every captive’s chains! Heaven opens wide its gates—a white horse leads the way, The Faithful and the True steps forth to turn the night to day! His eyes are flame, His robe dipped red, a iron rod in hand, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, He claims the promised land! The beast is crushed, the dragon bound, the final trial done, The books are opened at the throne before the Holy One. (Verse 7) The former earth has passed away, the sea is seen no more, New heavens and a brand new earth open up their door. Descending like a adorned bride, Holy Jerusalem, Built on twelve foundation stones, a glowing golden gem. No temple needed in its gates, no sun or moon to shine, The glory of the Lord God lights this city so divine. The River of Life flows crystal clear from out the royal throne, The Tree of Life bears healing fruit, its leaves forever grown. (Outro) No more mourning, no more pain, no tears inside their eyes, The curse is gone forever underneath these new-made skies. He wipes away each salty drop, He makes all things brand new, The Alpha and Omega speaks words that are forever true. The Spirit and the Bride say, "Come, drink living water free!" Surely I am coming soon... Amen. So let it be!
