Mama in the front, sis in the back, bags packed tight — Atlanta bound, chasing something more than a trip. We were chasing freedom. 🎶 [Verse 1 – The Road to Atlanta] Cruisin’ I-40, sunlight bleedin’ low, Mark on the mix, speakers on glow. Motown dreams, R&B soul, Family in motion, story unfold. Smokey and the Bandit on a Sunday scene, Windows down, the air feel clean. Cross that line into Tennessee gold, Nineteen and wild, a story told. 🎵 [Hook – Sung – Female Vocalist] We were flyin’ before we left the ground, Love and laughter all around. From Raleigh streets to Georgia sound, We were sky-high hearts, never comin’ down. 🎶 [Verse 2 – The Takeoff] 4 A.M., alarm starts ringin’, Coffee steam, airport dreamin’. Delta check-in, gates in sight, Lockheed TriStar in morning light. Mama eyes closed, Mark locked in, Shantell smilin’ with a window grin. Flaps set down, brakes release, Engines roarin’ — peace on peace. 🎵 [Hook – Sung] We were flyin’ before we left the ground, Family tight, no fear found. Every mile another sound, Faith and flight, our love unbound. 🎤 [Bridge – Spoken w/ Beat Drop] Salt Lake skies, mountains gleam, Great Salt Lake lookin’ like a dream. Touchdown smooth, new air to breathe, No humidity, just memories to weave. Grandpa’s smile, Grandma small, Hugs that could rewrite it all. Didn’t know time would move so fast, But that trip — man, it made it last. 🎵 [Final Hook – Sung + Spoken Blend] (female vocalist) We were flyin’ before we left the ground, Holdin’ tight, love all around. (TY spoken under hook) Some flights don’t end when the wheels come down — they just land somewhere inside you. (female ad-lib) Ooo-oh, August ’96, we took flight… 🎧 [Outro – Spoken / Music Fade] TY: From the highways to the heavens — we were already airborne. This was RedTalk Legacy: August ’96. TY — NYC2LAX. Keep flyin’.
