[Robot voice] (Distraction!) [Verse] Songs about sex and violence Are promoted to distract us from the fact that so many have so little While a few have more than anyone. [Break] [Verse] If you had far beyond what you need, and didn't want to share due to greed, what would you do to mislead, Hey! Look anywhere except at me. [Verse] Capitalism intentionally creates inequality, A deliberate one percent, and a homeless disenfranchised generation, all meant to exist in this system. [Break] [Chorus] Your education won't teach you this, Your teachers haven't realized it, It's the secret of the richest rich; not everyone can achieve it. [Verse] To have too much money and hold it requires the worst in a person's morality, they must be willing to kill, To destroy anything that is a threat. [Break] [Verse] The biggest threat of all - discovery how to end a system of oppression. people saying "I will not participate" Thats enough to end Capitalism! [Verse] We must move to a fairer system Without having before seen that system. But we have dreamed of it, we all know it; how we treat family and friends, based on love and kindness. [Break] [Verse] Sharing resource allocation the next challenge for a next generation. How to ensure everyone has enough while preventing over-accumulation. [Break] [Verse] Luckily we have the technology the knowledge to do this with near perfection! No need for rulers, leaders who start pure but corrupt quick by power. [Verse] We can manage ourselves now. We no longer need politicians pretending they share our interests. Politicians who get filthy rich, and empty. [Break] [Verse] The trick of having too much; one person will have to do horrible evil things to get it, Once they have that wealth, they forget what they did to get it -- on purpose. [Verse] The rich need distractions too to forget about all the harms they cause, when workers make mistakes it's a bump, but when CEOs fuck up it can be a catastrophe. [Chorus] Your education won't teach you this, Your teachers haven't realized it, It's the secret of the richest rich; not everyone can achieve it. [End]
