You open doors before me, You pull my heart back into light. You whisper through the silence, “Step forward and be free.” Your mercy breaks the shadows And renews the soul in me. [Pre-Chorus] I’m letting go of the old things, The chains that used to define— ’Cause You’re the God of beginnings, And You’re making this life mine. [Chorus] You’re the God of new beginnings, Leading me into the truth. You wash away the past behind me, And You make my spirit new. Your forgiveness, Your redemption— Every promise shining through. You restore me and transform me, And You show me what to do. [Verse 2] You speak peace into the chaos, You turn the broken into whole. You breathe hope into my future, You’re the anchor of my soul. You guide me through the questions, You steady every fear. You fill my path with purpose And remind me You are near. [Pre-Chorus] I surrender all my failures, The weight I used to hold. You cover me with mercy And a love that won’t grow old. [Chorus] You’re the God of new beginnings, Leading me into the truth. You wash away the past behind me, And You make my spirit new. Your forgiveness, Your redemption— Every promise shining through. You restore me and transform me, And You show me what to do. [Bridge] Take my heart and renew it, Take my steps and make them sure. You’re the light that goes before me, You’re the hope that keeps me pure. Every dream You’re awakening, Every promise You revive— You pull me toward tomorrow, And You breathe my soul alive. [Chorus – Final] You’re the God of new beginnings, Leading me into the truth. You wash away the past behind me, And You make my spirit new. Your forgiveness, Your redemption— Every promise shining through. You restore me and transform me, And You show me what to do. [Outro] You’re the God of new beginnings, And I’m walking into You.
