V5.5

Philosophers once debated the idea of absolute truths Does one plus one always equal two? Some believed everything is relative The truth of a statement depended on the condition It was a conditional truth The absolute folks are convinced some statements are true no matter what A square is not a circle is considered an absolute truth The proof is mathematical An absolute truth is something that is always true no matter what the circumstances Absolute truths are said to be axiomatic That means it is logical A statement assumed to be true without question, and which does not require proof Other truths are Empirical They are based on evidence Scientific observations and proofs, true in the world in which they are discovered Lately we have created a new category of truth The “If I Say It, It Is True,” truths The, I believe it, truths These are statements not based on empirical science Not axiomatic They are lies told often enough, and long enough, that some people believe them, even when their own experiences say they are false Even when your own eyes tell you they are lies Opinions, of course are conditional beliefs, often based on no facts or a falsehood False Truths are what a person wants to believe In my opinion, the Moon is made of cheese The moon was made in a dairy in Wisconsin, and carried into the sky by a cow I don’t care what science says I don’t care what the astronauts told us The landing was filmed in a studio in Vegas Besides we've never seen the dark side, so prove me wrong Go ahead and try to prove me wrong, because You can't and besides I'm not listening I'm right no matter what Right, because I say so, and who are you to say I'm wrong What do you know It's made from swiss and gouda cheese and I know Prove me wrong Go ahead and try, because You can't And I know it
