[Verse 1] Wake up, sunlight through the blinds, Got no reason to be counting time, Throw my worries in the rearview, Got my people and a sky of blue. We’ve been knocked down, we’ve been tested, Still got scars, but we’re still blessed, Let ’em talk, we don’t need to know, Life’s too short to move too slow. [Pre-Chorus] So turn it up, let the whole world fade, No bad vibes getting in our way, We don’t need a reason, we don’t need a plan, Just young at heart, forever who we am. [Chorus] Every day’s a holiday, Sunshine on a Friday, Laughing like we’re sixteen, Living out the wildest dreams. Ain’t gonna let nobody steal our light, We’re gonna dance until the morning light, Yesterday’s gone, tomorrow can wait, We’re making memories every single day. Every day’s a holiday. [Verse 2] Cheap sunglasses, windows down, Making noise all over town, Late-night drives with nowhere to go, Singing every word on the radio. If the road gets rough, we ride it out, Turn every setback into something loud, We’ve got each other, that’s enough, When life gets heavy, we still call it love. [Pre-Chorus] So turn it up, let the whole world fade, No negativity in our parade, We don’t need permission just to feel alive, Got a little bit of forever tonight. [Post-Chorus] (Whoa-oh), let it roll, (Whoa-oh), young forever in our souls, (Whoa-oh,) wherever we go, We make our own vacation. [Bridge] Maybe we don’t have it all, Maybe sometimes we still fall, But every sunrise is a brand-new chance, So grab my hand and take this dance. No looking back, no holding on, We’ll keep moving with the dawn, If growing up means losing this, Then we’ll stay young and never miss. [Final Chorus] Every day’s a holiday, Sunshine on a Monday, Laughing like we’ve got forever, Making every moment better. Ain’t gonna let nobody steal our light, We’re gonna celebrate this crazy life, Yesterday’s gone, tomorrow can wait, We’re making memories every single day. Every road becomes a getaway, Every night becomes a Saturday, With my friends beside me, I know we’re okay, ’Cause every day, every night, every hour— Every day’s a holiday. [Outro] Leave your worries at the door, We’re not keeping score anymore, Young at heart, come what may, Turn it up— Every day’s a holiday.
