[Spoken Intro (Rapped)] Yo, listen up, this is Psalm 119 A story of guidance, truth, and divine light In a world full of shadows, we find our path Through the word of the Lord, no aftermath Let’s get it. [Instrumental hook] [Verse 1 (Rapped)] Blessed are those who walk undefiled in His ways, Seek Him with their hearts, follow all His days, They keep His precepts, do no iniquity, Living righteously, it's divine symmetry, Deal bountifully with me, that I may live, Open my eyes, show the wonders You give, I’m a stranger on earth, don’t hide Your commands, My soul longs for Your righteous demands. [Chorus (Sultry Female Singer)] Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path, Guiding me through life, no matter the aftermath I hide Your word in my heart, so I won’t sin Meditate day and night, let the journey begin. [Instrumental interlude] [Verse 2 (Rapped)] Teach me, O Lord, the way of Your statutes, I'll keep till the end, With my whole heart, I'll follow, no need to pretend, Give me understanding, and I'll cherish Your law, Observe it faithfully, without a single flaw Direct my steps by Your word, let no sin have dominion, Redeem me from oppression, let Your light be my vision, Make Your face shine upon me, teach me Your decrees, Rivers of water run down, they don't follow Your pleas. [Chorus (Sultry Female Singer)] Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path, Guiding me through life, no matter the aftermath, I hide Your word in my heart, so I won’t sin, Meditate day and night, let the journey begin. [Instrumental interlude] [Verse 3 (Rapped)] Your testimonies are wonderful, my soul keeps them close, The entrance of Your words gives light, it’s grandiose, I opened my mouth and panted, for Your commands I yearn, Look upon me and be merciful, Your ways I’ll learn, Great peace have those who love Your law, no stumble in their way, Lord, I hope for Your salvation, Your commands I’ll obey, My soul keeps Your testimonies, I love them so deep, Your word is my guidance, in it my heart will steep, [Chorus (Sultry Female Singer)] Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path, Guiding me through life, no matter the aftermath, I hide Your word in my heart, so I won’t sin, Meditate day and night, let the journey begin.
