Because of Jesus Christ (Dale G. Renlund) [Apr 2026]

Like a little dog with balls of blue and gold, Chasing one then dropping it for more untold. Overwhelmed and weary, ready to give in, Life throws many worries, where do we begin? Because of Jesus Christ, I find my way, His Atonement lights the darkest day. He conquered death and paid the price for me, Because of Jesus Christ, I’m truly free. He rose triumphant from the empty tomb, Breaking every chain of death and gloom. Forgiveness flows for all who will repent, His mercy cleanses every wrong we’ve spent. Because of Jesus Christ, I find my way, His Atonement lights the darkest day. He conquered death and paid the price for me, Because of Jesus Christ, I’m truly free. He knows my pain, my grief, my every tear, Understands my trials, calms my every fear. All that’s unfair will one day be made right, In His perfect love, I walk into the light. So keep your eyes upon the Savior’s face, Focus on His mercy, truth, and grace. No matter how many burdens press me down, In Jesus Christ, my hope and joy are found. Because of Jesus Christ, I find my way, His Atonement lights the darkest day. He conquered death and paid the price for me, Because of Jesus Christ, I’m truly free. He lives, He lives, the risen Lord of all, He lifts me up each time I fall. Because of Jesus Christ, I sing and say, I’ll trust in Him forever and today.
